Christmas Dog Collars

Now’s the season to be jolly…… bow wow wow wow wow, wa wow wow wow 🐶🐾. You might need to get Christmas jumpers, start the Christmas shopping, and get a Christmas collar for your four legged friend. We’ve pulled together some of our favourite choices of Christmas dog collars.

Candy cane stripes

Green and red striped Christmas dog collar

The red and white stripes of the candy cane religiously represent the blood of Jesus and purity of his life. The crook at the top of the stick is to remember the shepherds who visited the baby Jesus. The peppermint flavour stems from a herb called hyssop.

The Oscar & Hooch green striped collar although not technically the traditional red and white candy cane incorporates the red and white stripes and our green could, for instance, be the peppermint! In other words, it could be your candy cane Christmas dog collar!

Christmas dog collars by colour

There are some colours that just say Christmas! Greens, reds and white, and often gold.

Evergreen plants, such as holly, ivy and mistletoe were used for many many years to decorate and brighten up buildings during the dead of winters. In addition, red was seen in the berries of the holly and in a religious sense it came from the red apple eaten by Eve in the garden of paradise, or represents the blood of Jesus. Find out more here. After that, we now associate red and green with Christmas. Our signature range collars come in Apple Green and Bold Red and can be worn all year round. Moreover, they are made from lovely soft fabric that is comfortable on your dogs neck. They are also machine washable to make easy work of muddy winter walks.
